Citizen Satisfaction Survey
Direction Finder Survey
In October 2021, the Board of Aldermen authorized an agreement with ETC Institute, a national leader in resident survey administration and data analysis, to conduct a citizen satisfaction survey. The survey was administered between the months of December 2021 and January 2022. More than 400 households across Smithville participated in this survey.
Compared to 2019 results, residents gave the City much higher satisfaction ratings for City services. These results reflect the progress made in implementing the goals identified in the Community Strategic Planning and Visioning Process, the Comprehensive Plan Update, and the Parks and Recreation Master Planning process.
ETC Institute presented the survey findings at the Board of Aldermen Work session on February 15, 2022. See the complete report.
