Adopt-A-Street
The Adopt-A-Street Program is a partnership between the City of Smithville and its residents, organizations, and merchants. This program allows individuals, families, civic groups, or businesses to adopt a section of street in Smithville. The adopting individual or group will take responsibility for collecting litter in the City of Smithville right-of-way for the duration of the adoption period. In return, the City will recognize individuals and groups by listing their names on the City’s website and providing signage on their adopted street.
The Adopt-A-Street Program helps cultivate cleaner, more delightful surroundings for anyone who lives, visits, or simply drives by adopted areas. This program encourages civic engagement and strengthens community ties as we team up to keep Smithville clean.
