Water and Wastewater Rate Study

The City of Smithville engaged Raftelis Financial Consultants to develop water and sewer financial plans and develop rates for a five-year study period. The general objective of the utility rate planning process is to determine the level of revenue required to provide financial sustainability for the Combined Water/Wastewater Fund given the operational and capital needs of the City. The results of this study can be found in this report provided to the Board of Aldermen in 2022.
