Department Responsibilities & Duties

The Finance Department strives to provide timely and accurate accounting and basic financial reporting in a way that earns the respect of City residents and customers. The Finance Department aspires to perform its duties to the highest ethical standards, continuously improve the effectiveness of services, and earn recognition as a leader in City government. The Finance Department is responsible for the following City functions:

  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Bi-Weekly Payroll Processing
  • Employee Benefit Administration
  • Utility Billing & Utility Rates & Fees
  • Operational Budget & Capital Improvement Plan Development
  • Debt Management 
  • Treasury Operations and Banking Relations.
