Senior Center Services
- The Senior Center serves residents of Clay County age 60 and over or disabled of any age through a partnership with Clay County Senior Services.
- Click this link to view the April Menu & Activity Calendar. The Senior Center features a variety of fitness classes, space for games and socializing, special events, and educational programming.
- A nutritious catered lunch is served Monday through Friday. On M/W/F, lunch is at noon. On T/TH, lunch is at 11:15 a.m. immediately following morning activities. The cost for lunch is $5.00 payable in cash. Meals must be reserved by 1 p.m. the day before you wish to eat. Meals for Monday must be reserved by Friday. Call 816-343-2073 to reserve or cancel your meal.
Senior Fitness Classes
- Senior Fitness Classes are FREE for anyone age 60 and over living in Clay County. These classes are provided through a partnership between the City of Smithville Parks & Recreation Department and Clay County Senior Services.
- The following classes are available. Advance registration is not required. For more information, call the Senior Center at 816-343-2073.
Mondays and Fridays at 8 a.m.: Senior Strength & Balance with Michelle
Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m.: Senior Chair Yoga with Kim
Tuesdays at 10 a.m.: Mindful Movement with Constance
