FY2025 Budget The Board of Aldermen approves the City's Operating and Capital Budgets annually in October. The City's budget/fiscal year runs from November 1st through October 31st.

2030 Comprehensive Plan Throughout 2020, the City of Smithville has undertaken updating the Comprehensive Plan. This plan is a foundational document that guides land-use and planning decisions over the next 10 years.

Strategic Plan The Vision is to create "Smithville - a modern community oasis designed for 2030." The Community Strategic Action Plan directs efforts and resources toward the defined vision for the future employing a roadmap that is realistic, achievable and sustainable.
